FIGHTER, a documentary, starring Randy Couture is an official selection
of the 2006 Foundation for the Advancement of Independent Films (FAIF)
International Film Festival. The film captures a slice of sports
history as Randy "The Natural" Couture chases his first Ultimate
Fighting World Championship™ Belt. FIGHTER, also nominated in the BEST
DOCUMENTARY category takes an irreverent yet brutally honest look
inside the minds of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighters.
FIGHTER takes place a mere decade ago when MMA, then known by a variety
of names – Vale Tudo, Ultimate Fighting, Pancrease, No Holds Barred –
was considered the bastard stepchild of the sporting world. Today,
Newsweek Magazine says that the “Ultimate Fighting Championship™”
(UFC™) has become one of the most successful and lucrative new sporting
