The Professional Submission League successfully debuted its inaugural submission wrestling event L.A. Sub X, on Friday, May 26, 2006 in Santa Monica, CA. L.A. Sub X featured the greatest submission artists of our time in an All-Star line up of single matches with over 75 world titles represented.

Finally! The 1st event of Rico Chiapparelli’s PSL on DVD. I’ve been waiting for this release since May of 2006! Word is that the Mission-X event is in the final stages of editing…but I’ve heard that one before

Sub-X…All matches shown in their entirety (your choice of with or without commentary) through cameras up close, then a replay of highlights from each match, and post-match interviews from both athletes. No bad matches, just professional-level submission grappling from the best in the sport.

Bruce Buffer opens the event, a fast-forward of the venue assembly, quick shots of the crowd, self-intros of competitors, weigh-ins at Jiu Jitsu Pro Gear, Jeff Glover talking about his daily routine, fighters warming up at R-1 Gym and backstage, Saulo on fight strategy, and finally, the PSL rules. These are all short segments, but really good footage.
