he 2005 North American Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Tournament (NABJJT) was held at the Aviation Park Sports Complex in Redondo Beach, CA. The tournament was organized by the NABJJF and produced by Tsuji Fight Media Productions. The NABJJT’s intent was to showcase some of the top Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighters under one roof. World BJJ Champs Andre Galvao, Cassio Werneck, Saulo Ribeiro, Givanildo Santana and other well-known fighters such as, Wander Braga, Walter Nagakawa, Frederico Sabbatini, Joao Cunha, Eduardo Arrivabani, and James Casas were all part of this amazing line-up. With only two divisions a PRO Black Belt Lightweight and Heavyweight, competitors battled for the title.
